Cancellation Policy

Cancelling within 14 days of booking
After you book your course you have a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period. if you cancel within 14 days of booking we will refund your deposit/first payment in full.
Cancelling after 14 days of booking
After 14 days your deposit is non refundable and non-transferrable to another course.
You can however transfer your place to a friend and recoup costs from them.
The balance of fees are due 6 weeks before the cours starts.
Once your balance is paid it is non refundable and you can’t transfer to another course but you can transfer to a friend.
if WE cancel your course for any reason you will get a full refund.
We are a teeny tiny family business so hope you understand why the policy is in place, we strongly encourage you to take out adequate holiday/travel insurance in the event that you are unable to attend.

Transfer my booking
If you can no longer attend your course, instead of just cancelling it you can transfer to a friend and recoup your fees from them or donate your place to someone that can’t afford it and claim on your insurance.
Transfer Policy

If you are deciding to transfer your place rather than cancelling it any fees you have paid remain non refundable however if you transfer to a friend you can recoup any costs paid from them if you wish and they will be responsible for any balance payments left on your booking.

If to a friend they will then be responsible for paying the balance of fees and it’s up to you if you want to recoup your first payment/deposit from them directly.
If to an apprentice/someone that can’t afford it we will give the option to one of our young apprentice technicians and studio managers to take the place and cover the balance.

You wil not be refunded your payment but if you transfer to a friend it’s up to you in you want to recoup the costs.
If you transfer to an apprentice they will benefit from not paying for a course and you can choose to recoup the costs from your insurance company if you have taken out travel insurance.

We have humble onsite accommodation with shared bathrooms facilities (we don’t have any ensuite rooms) you do not have to share a bedroom unless you wish to do so. For full details of our residential facilities see here.

See location below but essentially we are located in South West England, the nearest train station is TOTNES, from there you’ll need to get a taxi or lift share which we can help you co-ordinate, taxis are approx £35 each way.
If you drive we have free onsite parking.
There is no public transport to/from Coombe.

If there’s no kit list on here it means we are providing what you need for the course but we recommend you bring a sketchbook and if you have any tools or equipment you like to use feel free to bring those with you.
