ITINERARY
You have a two-hour window to arrive for your course between 5pm and 7pm on the first day of your course - Sunday for 5 and 4 day courses or Thursday for 3 day courses.
We appreciate it’s difficult to arrive bang on time, so you don’t need to arrive exactly at 5pm, just any time within the two hour window of 5pm-7pm.
Welcome drinks for everyone takes place at 7pm on the arrival day. Dinner is at 8pm for residents.
NB: If you are a non-resident and you would like to say on and join us for dinner there’s a £15 charge which you can pay during the course book in here.

*There are some exceptions including Sarah Bee’s courses and Lucy May Schofield’s Mokuhanga course, which finish after breakfast. Double check your pre course emails for your specific times and/or the course details on the main website.

Coombe is located down some teeny tiny lanes in Devon.

Nearest Airports: Exeter, Bristol, London
Nearest Train Station: Totnes Lift shares/taxis from Train station Badger Cabs, Andsome Cabs or email to lift share. NB book/arrange at least a week in advance
Driving & Parking Our post code is TQ6 0JA. If you use the what3words app use fulfilled.exploring.branching to find us. We recommend setting your SATNAV via harbertonford and the sportsmans arms if you want to avoid the tiny lanes.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations can happen for lots of different reasons, however fees are non refundable so we strongly recommend you take out travel/holiday insurance in the event that you need to cancel your course.

Cancelling within 14 days of booking
After you book your course you have a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period. if you cancel within 14 days of booking we will refund your deposit/first payment in full.
Cancelling after 14 days of booking
After 14 days your deposit is non refundable and non-transferrable to another course.
You can however transfer your place to a friend and recoup costs from them.
The balance of fees are due 6 weeks before the cours starts.
Once your balance is paid it is non refundable and you can’t transfer to another course but you can transfer to a friend.
if WE cancel your course for any reason you will get a full refund.
We are a teeny tiny family business so hope you understand why the policy is in place, we strongly encourage you to take out adequate holiday/travel insurance in the event that you are unable to attend.

TRANSFER POLICY
If you can no longer attend your course, you can’t transfer to another one but instead of just cancelling it you can transfer your place to a friend and recoup your fees from them or donate your place to someone that can’t afford it.
WHAT TO BRING
The Kit List is the essential list of art materials you need to bring with you - if there is no kist list for your course below, we provide it all, just bring a sketchbook.
PAYING THE BALANCE OF YOUR FEES/INVOICE

Fees are due six weeks before the course starts.

You will receive an invoice for the balance of fees via our invoice system Stripe, which can be paid by card (inc amex) by BACS or over the phone.

Don’t panic we won’t release your place without telling you!
Sometimes we are also late sending invoices. If you are late paying just let us know and pay asap.

We have humble onsite accommodation with shared bathrooms facilities (we don’t have any ensuite rooms) you do not have to share a bedroom unless you wish to do so. For full details of our residential facilities see here.

See location below but essentially we are located in South West England, the nearest train station is TOTNES, from there you’ll need to get a taxi or lift share which we can help you co-ordinate, taxis are approx £35 each way.
If you drive we have free onsite parking.
There is no public transport to/from Coombe.

If there’s no kit list on here it means we are providing what you need for the course but we recommend you bring a sketchbook and if you have any tools or equipment you like to use feel free to bring those with you.

That’s fine, generally its good to stay for the final day as long as possible for the closing session/s but if you need to leave before lunch that’s fine, you can let us know during the course.
